Indianapolis Veterans Day Service and Parade Planned

Staff Report /

The City of Indianapolis will host a Veterans Day Service and Parade on Monday, November 11, 2024, at the Indiana War Memorial, located at 431 N. Meridian St. The service will begin at 11 A.M., followed by a parade at noon.

The parade will step off at the intersection of Michigan and Pennsylvania Streets. The route will head south on Pennsylvania Ave., west on New York St., and then north on Meridian St., concluding at Meridian and St. Clair, around the Legion Mall and the Indiana War Memorial.

This year's observance will acknowledge the 48 local veterans affected by the recent HVAF fire. The city is coordinating housing resources to assist those displaced.
