Mountain View Players Celebrate DIII Drama Success

The Mountain View Players of the West Ada School District in Meridian, Idaho recently achieved third place at the DIII drama competition. A total of 22 students qualified for the state competition, which will take place in December in Twin Falls.
The following students and their respective entries have been recognized as state qualifiers:
- **Scenic Design:** Jeramiah Aragon and Akasha Deer (Second Place), Ron Wilkins and Millie Hanson (First Alternates)
- **Tech Props:** Gianna Gallentine and Bianca Gabler
- **Costume Design:** Piper Laney and Kenley Guymon
- **Ensemble Humorous:** Hannah Macho and Grady Fritz (First Place), Sam Weymouth, Lahnia Webster, Hunter Matthews, Ellah Cockcroft, and Sarah Jensen
- **Original Humorous:** Ciarrah Puckett and Jessica Ulmen
- **Ensemble Serious:** Amanda Packard and Finley Williams
- **Solo Audition:** Dutchlin Stull (Second Place), Grady Fritz
- **Pantomime:** Logan “Dan” Katzmark (First Place)
- **Solo Humorous:** Dutchlin Stull (First Place), Cecelia Wanyoni (Second Place), Sam Miner (Third Place), Elizabeth Berrier
- **Solo Musical Theater:** Lahnia Webster and Hannah Macho
The community is showing support for the team's accomplishments with a message of encouragement, stating, “GO MAVS!”
