**Kicks for Kids Program Helps Expand Soccer Opportunities Across Chicago**

In 2006, the Chicago Fire soccer organization highlighted the importance of making soccer accessible to everyone. With support from Meridian of Illinois, the “Kicks for Kids” program aimed to bring the joy of the sport to various communities across Chicago.

This initiative focused on ensuring that children from all areas of the city had the opportunity to engage with the game of soccer. By providing resources and support, the program worked toward expanding the reach and inclusivity of youth soccer, spreading its benefits throughout the community.

The Chicago Fire, using their platform, has consistently promoted the idea that soccer is a game for everyone, and partners like Meridian of Illinois have been central to helping these efforts succeed.
