According to the U.S. National Weather Service in Boise, Idaho, clear skies are expected to continue today, leading to warming temperatures throughout the week. Daily high temperatures will steadily increase and reach near record levels on Saturday in many locations.

Forecast high temperatures for this week are as follows:

• Baker City: 51°F on Monday, reaching 86°F on Friday.

• Banner Summit: starting at 41°F on Monday and rising to 81°F on Friday.

• Boise: beginning at 50°F on Monday with a high of 94°F anticipated on Friday.

• Bogus Basin: starting at 50°F on Monday and climbing to 88°F on Friday.

• Brundage Mountain: beginning at 49°F on Monday and reaching 85°F by Friday.

• Burns: starting at 54°F on Monday to a high of 92°F on Friday.

• Caldwell: 53°F on Monday with a high of 92°F on Friday.

• Fairfield: beginning at 52°F on Monday and reaching 89°F on Friday.

• Idaho City: starting at 45°F on Monday with a high of 89°F on Friday.

• Jerome: beginning at 54°F on Monday and rising to a high of 94°F on Friday.

• McCall: starting at 51°F on Monday and reaching 80°F on Friday.

• Meridian: beginning at 54°F on Monday.

After reaching near record highs later in the week, temperatures are forecast to trend below normal early next week.
