Boise and Meridian fire crews are on the scene of a fire involving a large pile of railroad ties along the railroad tracks near the 4100 block of E. Pine Ave. Firefighters are working to extinguish the blaze despite challenges from a limited water supply. There is currently no threat to nearby structures. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
