At 9:10 p.m. MDT, the US National Weather Service in Boise reported a strong wind outflow in Caldwell. Wind speeds of 40 to 45 mph have been observed, and this outflow is headed toward Meridian and Boise. The blowing dust is expected to reduce visibility to around 1 mile.
