Meridian Leaf Pick-Up Services Update Released

Staff Report / MeridianLocal.org

The City of Meridian, Idaho has provided an update regarding leaf pick-up services. Republic Services is currently facing challenges with leaf volumes that exceed their driver staffing capabilities. Residents are advised that if their leaf bags are not collected on scheduled trash days, they should leave the bags at the curb until a Republic Services leaf truck arrives for collection.

For those who prefer to transport their leaf bags, drop-site options are available. More information can be found at meridiancity.org/rtf.

Important dates to remember for leaf collection are as follows:

- Curbside Collection: October 28 to November 22

- Drop Site Collection: October 22 to December 12

- Ada County Drop Site Collection: October 7 to December 14.
